Terms & Conditions
EQUIPMENT RENTAL AGREEMENT (2026-2027)
Between: Lovely Bubbly Spas ("the Owner") and the Renter ("the Hirer")
This Agreement is made effective upon the date of the booking deposit payment. By paying the deposit, the Hirer agrees to be bound by the following terms:

1. Booking, Availability & Payments

Availability: You must confirm availability via WhatsApp, Email, or Web Form before making any payment.

Pivotal Use & Events: Any "pivotal use" (e.g., a specific event, party, or deadline) must be discussed with the Owner prior to booking. The Hirer is responsible for ensuring enough hire days are included to reach temperature for such events.

Pricing Structure: Total hire fees consist of a £69 Service & Logistics Fee (non-refundable once service has started) and an Equipment Hire Fee.

Deposit & Cooling Off: A £50 non-refundable deposit reserves your dates. By paying this deposit, you expressly request that Lovely Bubbly Spas begins your service immediately (allocating equipment and logistics). You acknowledge this limits your right to a full refund under the 14-day cooling-off period.

Payment Methods: "Cash" bookings reserve the date once the deposit is paid via transfer or cash. For "Card" bookings, the full balance is required; refunds for card bookings made without checking availability will exclude card processing fees.

Final Balance: Remaining fees must be paid upon delivery.
2. Delivery Setup & Site Safety

Site Readiness: You must provide a clear, trip-free access route (e.g., removing bins from alleyways). The setup area must be level and clear of debris or animal waste.

Measurement: You are responsible for ensuring adequate space.

Delivery Refusal: We reserve the right to refuse delivery if terms are not met. In such cases, the £69 Service & Logistics Fee is retained.

Heating Specifications: Setup is usually the day before hire. Heating takes approx. 1.5°C–2°C/hr in optimum conditions. Starting/target temperatures, weather, and tub size affect speed.

Winter / Cold Use: In near-freezing conditions, heating takes approx. 0.5°C–1°C/hr. The Hirer must ensure enough hire days are booked to reach temperature. No refunds are issued if the manufacturer-specified heating window (up to 48 hours) has not elapsed.

Water: You must provide a water supply and hosepipe to fill the spa.
3. Hirer Responsibilities & Safety

Forbidden Items: Fake tan, sun cream, makeup and jewellery are strictly prohibited in or around the hot tub.

Cleaning Fees: A £50 deep-clean charge applies for unreasonably dirty spas. A £25 fee applies for staining to liners or gazebo fabric.

Electrics: The spa must be positioned within 5m of a suitable outdoor power socket. This distance must be measured along the ground following the route the cable will take; this ensures the cable can be laid flat to avoid being a trip hazard. Extension leads are strictly prohibited.

Water care/safety: The hirer must ensure that the start up chemicals provided are used as directed, and the filters are cleaned after every use.

Children: Children under 5 are not permitted in the spa. Older children must be supervised at all times (max temperature 35°C).

Hydration: You must ensure all users stay hydrated.

Responsibility: The hirer is responsible for all users during the hire period. We are not liable for illness caused by improper water maintenance or failure to follow safety guidance.
4. Gazebo Usage

Wind Safety: Gazebos must not be used in gusts exceeding 20mph.

Securing: Weights must not be moved or tampered with.

Forbidden items: No smoking or heaters are permitted inside.
5. Cancellations & Equipment Failure

Notice periods: Some or all of a deposit may be refunded where enough notice is given:

>14 days (£30 retained)
-
7–14 days (£40 retained)
-
<7 days (Full £50 deposit retained).

Weather: Hot tubs are all-weather. If we cancel a gazebo hire due to high winds, only the gazebo fee is refunded.

Faults: Pro-rata refunds apply only to full 24-hour periods of lost use from the time a fault is reported to us.
6. Collection & Late Returns

Draining: Unless the £10 Fast-Drain Service is pre-booked, the tub must be empty before collection.

Late Return: A £50 per day charge applies for failed collections.

Loss of revenue: The Hirer is also liable for any loss of revenue if this delay causes the cancellation of a subsequent customer's hire.
7. Damage, Liability & Indemnity

Damage: The Hirer is liable for all damage regardless of cause, including damage by pets or wild animals (e.g. foxes). Punctured liners are billed up to £600.

Property Damage: The Owner is not liable for damage to the Hirer’s property caused by the Hirer’s failure to follow terms (e.g. leaving gazebos up in wind).

Liability: Lovely Bubbly Spas accepts no liability for injury or property damage arising from the use of the equipment.
